Join us on Sunday 8th December for a nourishing 2.5hr practice, where we will explore the spirit of water..
There will be a blend of Qigong and Yin yoga/acupressure to harness the energy of the season and connect deeply with the elemental body.
This will be a cosy evening of connection, community and poetry. Gathering in a sacred circle, there will be opportunity to share a poem or two or simply listen in.
This months theme is related to Autumn and the Metal element so we will be holding space for poems related to grief/sadness/letting go, or you can share a poem that you find soothing in the darker seasons.
Join me for this elemental practice where we will explore the Metal element. You can expect a nourishing 2 hour Yin yoga practice which will include breath work, aromatherapy, acupressure and of course yin yoga.
Traditionally, acupuncture was practiced in China in a multi-bed setting, meaning that lots of people would gather in one room to receive treatment. When moving over to the west, the dynamic of treatment changed and is now mostly offered in a one on one setting.
Although a one-to-one treatment is beautiful and necessary in some cases, I also feel passionate about reconnecting with the original roots of acupuncture and would like to make treatment available for those who may not be in a position to justify a full priced one-on-one session.
These sessions will be for 6 people and you can expect a blend of Yin yoga, aromatherapy with self massage, follow by acupuncture and a grounding meditation to finish. The acupuncture points will be designed to regulate and restore a general sense of balance and well-being. Ideal for those who want to rest and destress. I wouldn't suggest this session for support with specific conditions although this is something that I will be offering in the future.
